How about a little blog post for this Tuesday morning:)?! Let me tell you about this stunning tiny ginger, named Caitlyn, & she is a DOLL:)

Caitlyn turned  the big ONE the day of her birthday shoot, & she was one happy little girl!

I can honestly say that I don't think I have ever shot a happier, & sweeter birthday girl like Caitlyn:)

w/that being said, mom & dad were super cool & happy too:)

I hope to watch this little beauty grow & have the opportunity to capture her often:)

I love what I get to do very much, but when I have such an awesome session like this one, it makes what I do feel like I am just playing:)

Spring love!

I had the most adorable little family sessions this spring, it has to be one of my favorite's for sure:)

As a photographer it's always so awesome to have clients who come to you a couple times a year, every year <3 it makes me happy, it's fun catching up, & it's precious watching the subtle changes in their families as they grow:)

But I also love when I get to meet a new client, I have no idea of what to expect, sometimes it's a bit more challenging because I don't know the family, their dynamics, the children.....

Well, I KNEW this would be a beautiful shoot, even though I hadn't shot w/them before, I knew this was an adorable little family, but what I didn't know was that it was going to be a bit of a magical session:)

So it's not always ponies & rainbows from "hello":) Our hello was quickly turned into a few tears as one of these beauties was showing me her giant awesome white balloon for their shoot that they had brought & were so excited about it, BUT we watched it fly up, up & away..................

I felt so sad for her;/ luckily I had brought a few tricks for this sessions & even though they ween't an awesome, giant white balloon, it was almost as fun:) We had bubbles, peeps (it was before Easter:) & confetti eggs!

These little girls are beautiful....but I think that I had a little fairy on my shoulder during our session because as beautiful as they truly are, 98% of the time they were snacking on treats, or picking out "stickies" from their sandals.....after all were really were in the forest, & well, the forest has little critters, tall dry grass, & all sorts of things that an 18 months old & a 4 year old might be a bit distracted by:)

I am in LOVE w/these images, I hope mom n dad are too:) Speaking of mom n dad, they were darling as well!  & so sweet w/their girls, so full of love <3

I feel lucky to be able to get to know new & "old" families thru my photography, capture pretty photos, & freeze time for them <3

It's the best thing ever!

Ethan......the sweet little man:o)

Ethan C. has been diagnosed w/an inoperable brain tumor @ the tender age of 5.

I got a text followed by a VM during a Friday night shoot several weeks ago, a friend of mine had heard about Ethan, his sudden diagnoses & heard that the PTA wanted to give Ethan & his family a special photo shoot..........I am so happy I was able to do it:O)

The best day when the majority of the family would be together @ the hospital w/Ethan was the very next day!  I had a full schedule, but was able to rearrange a couple of things & make it out to Childrens Hospital of LA........on a side not-WOW, what a beautiful hospital it is!

Ethan was getting smooched left & right by all the ladies!  I think he enjoyed every second of it too!

Even though Ethan is VERY loved by his entire family, he is 10000000% adored by these two ladies below.  One is his auntie, & the other one is his mommy:O)

The image below is so touching to me......little Ethan was getting tired, he did so good, it's hard to believe the little guy is only 5 years old.  I have been told that he is so sweet, & so polite, he has nurses, Dr's & people in his face 24/7 & he is always happy & has a big smile on his face, & is always concerned for others........what an angel..........

Even though I feel like we can't question "why" it did break my heart to see him get into his wheel chair & head back to his little hospital room.....

Life is beyond precious...........taking photos this late afternoon for Ethan & his family was a very big reminder to me of just how precious life really is.  Ethan, little man......you are very loved, you're such a brave boy,  Keep on smiling, you are such a doll........ xo

Sloaney BEAR:O)

I am in L.O.V.E. & I am serious:O)

Isn't miss Sloaney bear adorable?!?!  Oh my gosh, this sweet little thing is one of my nieces:o) & I just LOVE her!

This little sweetie is SO incredibly loved, she has a beautiful older sissy, & a handsome, & oh so busy (& often times precious & priceless w/his busy-ness:O) older brother, & I will tell you that these two truly adore her! She was blessed to be born into a loving home w/an amazing & VERY stylish &  kind-hearted mother, & a very good father! 

&&&&&&&& not to mention, she has a TON of aunts & uncles, cousins & grandparents that love her so much too!  The bottom right corner photo up top is Sloane w/her Oma.....she has been one spoiled little baby girl so far, she is held & is loved by many. Sloaney bear is one lucky little girl!

This little peanut has the cutest room EVER!  Oh WOW. she has so much style, & doesn't even know it yet:O)!  The only little toy she has in her precious nursery is this cute little stork, & it is so stinken cute!  We used him in several of her photos, I love it!  It's so "posh"......

We (Sloaney n I:O)  had such a fun time @ her first photo shoot!  She was seriously PERFECT!  Even though this was for a family member, I was really anxious about her little shoot!  I wanted to make sure it was special, & perfect!  I love the way her shoot turned out, & I hope that mama (& daddy of course, but mostly mama:O) are happy too!

I am ending this special blog post w/one of my favorite shots of this day, this was actually a "test" shot, I don't do tons of indoor shoots, so I always have to adjust my setting a bit more @ first, until I am ready & happy w/what I formulated.  I don't use extra lighting (only flash if I must) I still try & work w/as much natural lighting as possible.......& this shot to me is amazing.  I love it so much.  I think this is the kind of photo that looks timeless, it shows her "baby stuff" & her beautiful window in her perfect little room, & her perfect little body:O)

So, is it me????  or does this last photo look like it could be out of a page from a magazine, I love the way their little girls are looking @ their parents, & I love the expressions on mom n dads face;o)

Photo sessions like this one makes me feel like I am playing!  I had so much fun w/them, & I hope they did too:O)

I am featuring a mixture of Christmas season family mini shoots on this post.....

Mini shoots are certainly not for everyone, but if they're for you, then they are perfect:) I try to mix up my minis as much as I can, I choose a location that allows me to get several looks in a shot period of time.....it's all about variety, details & depth!

I love meeting new people, & getting to know them really quickly through photography!  I feel like I have about a zillion friends:O) & I get to take pretty photos of my zillion new & old friends!  Sounds pretty fun, doesn't it:)?! 

Oh geeeeezzz.....how picture perfect is this darling family up above! I'd say well....very.

 I love looking @ these photos, each one brings me back to that very moment that I took them....I remember our conversations, the weather.....if I was running behind (oh I don't like running behind;/) I remember talking about hair, make-up & outfits........lot's of memories come back to me:)

Such fun photos & families! Some of these family mini's were taken in Corona @ an orange grove, a couple were taken @ a park in Fullerton, & a few were taken in Newport Beach:)

Yes these peeps are WAY cute^^ why they sure are:)  I love this little family above! They are my most "loyal peeps" thus far!  I think they have shot w/me 5, maybe 6 x's!  Mom is SOOO good about printing her photos, making them into books, canvases & puts them into frames......sometimes even on the same day as she gets her disk!  It makes me so happy when I have gone to their home & I see all their pretty smiles on the walls, & on tables:O) They are such a sweet family, & I truly love taking their photos:O)

Really ^^ yes these twinners are SoOoOoOo stink'n adorable;o)
