June Bride ~ April's Bridal

So for my first "session" of catch~up on the blog, I am starting off w/this beautiful woman!  I am still breaking into "weddings" I truly love capturing that amazing day for clients.  But one of my favorite things to do is to photograph the bride before.  

Amanda & I met up about 2+ months prior to her wedding, it was so fun meeting her, & her very sweet mother, getting to know them a little & getting excited w/Amanda for her wedding day!

Scroll down the page to see just a little of that wonderful afternoon late last Spring.  We were able to do not only her Bridals in the traditional wedding gown, but we made a few beautiful portraits of Amanda w/out her wedding dress on, & also added some fun accessories to celebrate her grooms heritage w/her gown on!

Sacred project

So I am attempting to play "catch~up"!  It has been almost 4 months since my last blog post!  That is BAD!!!  I have sooo many beautiful photographs that deserve their spotlight! I have been blessed to capture & make beautiful images, but life, duties, family, soccer, & my passion (photography) has been quite busy lately.......still that's no excuse!

Well, here goes @ least one new blog post (YAY:)

Last week I was contacted by one of my old friends, we were preggers @ the same time w/our "first" about 100 years ago!  We re-met via FB (I love FB:)! a few years ago, & it's been fun being in each others lives again, even if it's "virtually" most of the time!

Anyway, she was pretty much in charge of this annual dinner (since she was the president!) for  JRCLS & their special guest speaker was Julie B. Beck who was the former General Relief Society President for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter~Day Saints (from 2007-2012) & My girlfriend, Debbie asked me if I could capture the Newport Beach LDS Temple, so they could present it to her as a little "thank you" for speaking @ their event.

SO.....I did!  I shot @ the worse time for "photography" BUT what I was able to get was A-mazing light in almost ALL my shots! So I was VERY happy! 

I loved this special little assignment, it was personal, & sweet to me, & I am happy that I was asked to do this.

I think these can make a nice wedding, anniversary, birthday, Christmas & really "anytime" gift for those who are LDS & especially if they have been married in the NP Beach Temple.

Last week, 2 days before her amazing wedding, I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful bride!

It was a warm early summer evening, w/gorgeous natural & yummy lighting <3  We met @ our location, & between the bride, her mamma, my youngest & myself we began our little hike up to our spot, w/full hands, & a wagon topped off w/a chair:)! By the time we got to our little spot, I was out of breathe~lol, yes I am out of shape!  BUT, it was VERY worth it!

 Kaylie's colors were different shades of tangerine, so I picked up this tulle & thought it would be fun to use it in some of our shots <3 I love it on her!

These two both above & below have such a true vintage & timeless look, they are perfect.

                                        Kaylie was a wonderful bride to work with, she was so sweet, yet she knew exactly what she wanted, & because of the two (& she is beautiful:) I LOVE the way her bridal turned out!

I am currently working on her & her hubby's wedding day, & I am LOVING the photos!  I can't wait for them to see those, but for now~I hope these will tie them over <3

class of 2013

I got the chance to take some pretty great photos, of some pretty great HS graduates this year!

I'm so happy for each of them, each one of these "kids" are off to a great start, w/bright futures & exciting adventures ahead!

Thank you for having me be a part of this special moment, I had fun getting to know each of you a little better, & capturing your personalities on film  (well, digital film anyway:)

SO the other night instead of sleeping @ 1:00 am like I SHOULD have been doing, I was dreaming up a new way to capture a very sweet & important year for HS seniors!  My own daughter (crazy;/) will be a HS senior this year, & I wanted to do something extra special w/her~for her as she enjoys & goes through her last year of HS <3

My little brain came up w/an idea to do THREE mini sessions~

first mini~in the summer, July or August

second mini~late fall/early winter November-December

third mini~ spring, April............

Each mini session will be up to one hour, 2 "looks" & can include mom, & or dad if

                                                    wanted:)

you will get 4 high resolution images emailed to you within 10 days post session (just to tie you over until you get your full disk:)

~10 days post your last shoot in April, you will get a disk w/aprox. 45 individually edited high res. images.

AND

you will also receive 2 small (one for YOU & one for mom & or dad:) coffee table book of all your edited images:)

all this for only $495 (payment plan available:)

this is such a wonderful way to capture a memorable year, & to have something a little extra special to take w/you wherever your journey finds you...

I would LOVE to be your paparazzi during your HS senior year:O)
